help needed with suggestions for music for party in 2 and a half hours time... watch

    title says it all really (you happy with that?)

    it's my 18th tonight + my mum forgot to pass on the message that i could bring some of my own music... so i've only jus found out when i went down to set up :rolleyes:

    any suggestions (i'm quite into indie/rock), but i want people to dance.

    *runs off frantically realising she hasn't done anything to gt ready yet*

    EASY! All your old NOW albums, the people at the party will have grown up with you and because of that it's nostalgia. It's cheesy without being too cheesy and people will dance and know the songs

    lol, good thought- there is a dj, i just want some stuff that i like. i currenyly have my brother dispatched to choose it.

    muse + RHCP are good ideas.

    The Clash - London Calling is a great album, really catchy tunes on that you can boogie to, get it for a fiver in most shops.

    Got any No Doubt? Just A Girl is a perfect song for dancing and jumping about, maybe a bit of Less Than Jake, Offspring darkned up a bit with a smush of erm...erm... I can't think...

    Make sure Billie Jean gets in there though!
