Hello,
I am sharada, and I am planning to do masters in fine arts(painting 2d and 3d) in UK. I am an engineering student and will graduate in a year. So I am looking for universities that will consider my application for entry to a masters course based on my portfolio. I believe i can produce a portfolio equivalent to a BA fine arts student, but I do not know which colleges to apply for.
I was thinking about chelsea and central saint martins, but I really want to apply for the best options available. Hope you can help me out..
Thanks

A UK Masters degree isnt a 'conversion' course. They aren't designed for people who did the 'wrong' undergraduate degree and think they can now cram 3 years of study into 9 months, as a way of changing direction. This is especially true in Fine Art - a Masters course isnt a quick 'how to paint' course, its an academic course about art as both an art-form and as advanced practice. You can't start at Masters level if you have zero academic background in that subject.
Go back to basics. Do a Foundation course at an Art School or a Uni specialising in that area (UCAL, Bournemouth or Falmouth).
