Just a quickie - if you retake any of your AS modules, do your AS grades get revised? Or do they just stay the same? Probably sounds fairly obvious, but I've never actually thought to ask about that.

If you improve on those modules, then yes, your overall AS grade will be revised if you have declined.

And if you decline, you can't get that grade back right? Does that rule remain even if you do worse in retakes?

The marks will still remain in the 'bank' even if you decline. The best mark will always count

Doesn't everyone need to resit then, to improve their marks so they have a better chance of getting a higher mark in their A levels??

if you re-take the AS grade stays the same, but the module marks go up. if you re-mark the AS grade goes up.

I was told if you decline you have to resit it all not just modules. Is that just our college policy then?

You can resit just modules, i.e. not all

Really? So all them people who reassure each other that "it doesn't matter about this AS exam as you can re-sit it" were misinformed
