Hello guys, on the 3rd of June I took my English exam it was all fine up until the last question.. I didn't use my time efficiently enough and ended up missing out many points (I only made 2 brief paragraphs).

The exam board out school is with is WJEC, but anyway my question is this: if I answerd but sections 1, 2, and 3 strongly would it matter that I missed out on a possible 9-8 marks on the last question? I mean I did the unit 2 paper fine (writing) and all my controlled assessments are at a grade B. Will those assessments make up for the mistake and still get my C grade?

Lastly I would like to ask if anyone know how much is needed for a 'c' grade in the WJEC English exam board, many thanks.

Yea, if you did the first three strongly then you should definitely be able to get a c or above, I know that for a B it is somewhere around 28 marks

You should be fine! I don't know what your exam board is like but I did my English language last year and the grade boundaries moved the week after we submitted our coursework and I got 2 D's and I wrote about the wrong character in the exam and still managed to get a C. So I'm sure you'll be fine! (I'm on AQA btw)
