Evidence problem.

Hello. I sent the EU14 application form along with the original document of my Identity Card.

The problem is that I have to use my ID immediately in order to apply for the IELTS examination in my country. I can't wait till my ID is returned to me because by then there will be no places left for me to apply.

Is it ok for me to issue a new ID here in my country while you have the original old one there? My nationality won't be changed at the new ID. The only thing that will change is the national ID number.

Hi,

To confirm your identity, we need to see valid identification.

If you have already received a new ID card, which may render the previous ID invalid, you should contact the EU department directly to discuss this with them.
