you could get a plain looking wooden photofram from ikea and buy stuff and decorate it, then stick a photo of you or both of you together in there.
Do you really need to spend money on an anniversary? Surely just being together to enjoy it in enough? Save the money and enjoy each other.

go to a photo booth and take 4 pictures of emotions or faces that have made him laugh...hard to explain really

What a cheapskate! Don't get him anything.

Frame a photo with some card that you marbled yourself. Actually marbling ink is quite expensive (though you get a lifetime's worth)...

Failing that, try the good old mix tape! Or CD or whatever new-fangled technology you young whippersnappers are wasting money on these days.

Completely agree. And everyone that were so close-knit before are so distant now. I guess people have lives!

All is well enough over here. And over there?

Buy someone that looks worth around a tenner, but is really £5. Pocket the other fiver. Profit.

Maybe this is why I'm single.

One object for one thing that he means to you, or he is to you.

Say...
1) Smiley face squeezeball - cus you make me smile.
2) Pen - honesty, for always expressing yourself honestly and gently.
3) Keyring - holds the key to my heart
4) Small cuddly toy - hold you when I'm sad (the one who's always there for me)
5) Shell - always protects and so precious and strong
6) A piece of card with strips of colours - for brightening up my day/life
7) Pressed flower - beauty and freshness of your love for me
8) Seeds - you make me grow to become more than I could've been
9) Song that means something to both of you
10) Plastic jewel - cus you're my treasure
11) His favourite chocolate bar/sweet - sweet, just like you

Now I know what I've written is very very cheesy but if someone made a collection like that for me, I'd absolutely adore it.

And for that matter, hardly any of the above cost money. The only slightly more expensive one I could see would be the cuddly toy, but you can probably find it cheap somewhere. Most of the above you can improvise without spending money, and in a way it makes it more precious than any bought present

that's really sweet but u've got to explain it to the guy or he wun get it XD trust me hahaha

but yeah, it's sweet. last time my ex gave me a cute lil white bear saying i love you, i still keep it nice n clean, put it on my shelf(hope it doesnt deter any girls from liking me n think i'm attached lolx)
If someone got me seeds or a piece of card Id give her a slap.

Just buy some art kit stuff and get lots of stuff youve collected together, like phots, tickets etc and make a scrap book

a list of reasons why you love him?

For the boyfriends 21st I thought about making 21 little cards each with a reason why I love him and put them in a box. Only went against it as for me personally it was too soppy when I spent his birthday with him at his friends and decided I didn't want them seeing it....
