How much do we need to know about red-shift and the universe? bit of dodgy topic if you ask me..

it could be a 6 marker - all i would suggest is reading the physics specification then revising it :P

any 3 recommendation of what the 6 marks questions could be about.

Honestly for the most part, the six markers are big topics that you can write a lot about so I wouldn't worry about them and just revise everything then trying to predict what may or may not come up... That being said, probably something to do with energy

All I know about physics is that energy can be transferred

6 marker totally = different electromagnetic waves and properties
    I'm willing to believe that

After doing bio ..... couldnt have asked for a better paper i only had one day of revision and found it really easy ....dont think it will be the same case for chem and physics . But does that mean chem and physics going to be harder honestly i am really scared for physics, they have a tendancy to put really confusing and wordy questions in physics

If anyone got time, please explain(in good detail) how the orgin of the universe began and the theories supporting it. I dont want a brief answer but a detailed one, it'll be highly appreciated.

Can u mention red shift, big bang, steady state in ur answers please.

it says that you need to know all of this: :P

so basically, you need to learn all of P1.5 (physics unit 1, section 5)

blueshift is waves coming towards us
redshift is waves moving away from us
The colours (red/blue) show/represent the electromagnetic spectrum, as waves get closer or further apart:

redshift helps us explain/know that the universe is still expanding, if you need more help with this, i recommend looking at the specification of P1 as it includes all of the info, and the detail you need to know it in - but check my post above to help you with it
