How to Stop Allergies once and for all... Thoughts?

I was reading up on various articles about stopping allergies and one of them talked about how allergies are a sign of your weak immune system, and how to resolve this, you need to boost your immune system..
(ref article here: http://www.handmadesoapuk.org/allerg...mate-solution/ ) - This article simply says that boosting your immune system will help stop allergies... something along those lines anyway.
Has anyone overcome their allergies to creams... or certain types of food or anything of that nature?
Would be nice to hear what everyone has to say about allergies from cosmetics, foods etc.

I think boosting immune system can def help cope with allergies as the article says, but you have to do a lot of work to even get there. Most people are too comfortable with their lives to put ij enough effort and rather take an asprin.
I have used yoga...qigong...nutritious food and regular meditation to help overcome my allergy to hay fever and some cosmetic products.

I think that the idea is right, if you boost your immune system, the allergies would go away. The problem is, it's very difficult to impossible to do so. Your immune system isn't strong by nature, it's genetic. Maybe some people can overcome it with some drugs, supplements, whatever. But, most people can't. It's the same if you tried to make your brown eyes blue. It's what you are, and you'll have to learn to live with it.
