Hi,on january 2013, 5)c)ii) the mark scheme only has 1 answer. does it allow other varieties of optical isomer like 2-hydroxyhexanoic acid as an answer?

You cannot have 2-hydroxyhexanoic acid as you are told in the start of the question that the molecular formula has to be C6H12O2
