Basically im a bit confused over which course of action to take. I got CDDE on thursday, which means i missed my requirement for mechanical engineering at leicester. Theyve made the offer of doing a foundation year.

    So, my problem.

    1) Take that foundation year immediately.

    2) Go through clearing and try to find a mechanical engineering place somewhere else. If I havent found a place, then I can always go back through the lists for a foundation year place since foundation years are a dime a dozen.

    Your thoughts?

Honestly this is a personal decision that you have to make with your friends & family - how you think you'll fit into the uni, how much you like the specific course programme/structure at the uni, etc. Us giving you advice here on that would simply be misleading you.
