OCR history coursework mark

Mine sucked; I shouldn't care but I feel kinda angry that l put in so much effort (my first draft had to be totally re-written so my teacher would be confident it was C+)... And OCR marked it D. Anyone else find their coursework lower than expected?

Yes, mine was C and I was told it would be an A, I'm really angry for the same reason as you - I worked really hard on it and now I think I shouldn't have bothered and should just have concentrated on something else

This happened at our school too. Everyone's c/w mark was a lot lower than expected and people predicted an A in their c/w ended up getting a C. It was also the same situation with our edexcel french cw this year :frown:

same here with AQA got a C when told that our school normally does very good with CWKS :confused:

Same with my Edexcel coursework. Was told it was at least a B, got a C and had a 25 minute panic as it meant that I didn't get the grades I needed for uni (got there in the end though). Cheers Edexcel (or teachers...)

Someone in the year below got an E for their AS coursework when they were told it was a B too...

Genuinly expected an A if not a high one. It was all very nicely done etc. Naturally I worked very hard at it as I needed the A grade in history and wasn't taking any chances.

But got 63/90, lowest B possible. Seems to have happened to many of our school historians, costing them the overall grade.

though -i- still managed to _squeeze_ an A phew!

I was on Edexcel. Worked really hard, thought it was good, my teacher thought that it was an A (and he is normally very reliable), yet I was given a D!! Can't believe it.
