Well, a D is 50 UMS, so with a decent D of 55 UMS each module, 165. 165+180 (180 being your A*, 90 and 90 in c3/c4)=345, lets say you get 80 on your other module so you'd get about 425, a B grade.

The guy who did the maths before me ^^^ has put it pretty straight. Can't argue with maths.
But you should know there's no individual grade for A2, in any subject. It's AS, and then the full A-level.
You're best off resitting some AS modules in your A2 year to boost your grade, as well as working hard for the A2 modules.

....right! getting an a* in c3/4 and an 80 in M1 gets me an over grade of B. thus getting an 90 in M1 (my other module for next academic year) will get me an A..i suppose. correct?

You need to get 55 more ums points on your AS modules, so you'd need more than that 90 in M1.
