ERROR: windows\ system32\ drivers\ msisadrv.sys

Hi,

So I need help starting up my computer. I don't mind losing the data, but as long as I can get it up and running again.

So in reference to the error, I cannot access the windows home screen. I am left with a screen that shows:

I'm not really good at computers but I can follow some simple steps. I have tried rebooting the system, but this does not work either. I don't think any disk is readable. I am willing to spend £50 for repair (hard drive etc.) so I'll accept any suggestions.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5750

Thanks, I'd appreciate any help!

If you have your Windows CD your best bet would be to run a repair. If it's successful then you would have no loss of data.
Hi,

when the laptop boots up press Alt+F10 , this will take you to an window with options.
Acer eRcovery window will open up
select the "Restore" option

a second window will open
select " Reinstall applications/drivers "
by selecting this option you will not loos any data on your computer

if you select " Restore system to factory default " you will loos all your data and it will install a fresh copy of windows.

i hope this information has helped you

Cheers

Hi,

After pressing ALT+F10, it directs me to same screen, no other screen.
