Okay... so for the past year I have been learning to drive a manual car and personally I don't like it and I honestly think that I NEVER will buy a manual car. I've failed my driving test 3 times and although it is not due to me changing gears, I feel as though that would take my mind off a lot throughout the test. I REALLY need my license as well.

So.. I was thinking to start taking some automatic lessons as I already know how drive manual, what could be the worst?

But, people are saying an automatic license limits you a lot. But I don't see how, cos I would NEVER buy one anyway.

In most cases I'd say persevere with manual like I did, but if you really need your license quickly then I'd say do the test in an automatic, but with the aim of eventually retaking in a manual once you get more confidence with driving. I know you don't plan on ever buying a manual but it could leave you stuck in certain situations, e.g. company cars are often manual, courtesy cars, hire cars when abroad...

But yeah if you need to get your test passed quickly and you think you'll be able to do it easier in an auto, go for it
