I am applying for a Vietnam visa and only have 2 weeks (choosing the 2 day express delivery option). I really don't want my passport to get lost in the post though as I am flying in 3 weeks, what is the safest and fastest way to send it from Scotland to London and back?

Special Delivery. It will cost £fish, but it's guarantee'd to get there the next day, and it's tracked so you will know it got there safety.

Don't do it 'recorded delivery' as that is standard first or second class post with a signature, which you can get tracked, however, postmen don't always get a signature, some of them just pop it through the letterbox.

Thanks, can I prepay to have that sent back to me too?

No idea, it depends on who you're sending it to etc, you'd have to ask them.

What if you've already sent passport by regular post.Is there any way I can remedy this as I've already paid for the renewal?
