It was two marks! So do I get a mark for stating it transfers energy?

Posted from TSR Mobile
You should do as there is a transfer of energy involved.

Nope? Electrons carry charge. When current passes through a resistor the electrons in the charge collide with the ions that make up the resistor. This causes heat energy to be released leading to the resistor heating up - this will get you full marks.
Yay!
That's what I got

I can't remember the question. What was it along the lines of?

1 kW = 1000W.

That's right! So it was 1.8Kw this 1800W

What was the question again

I think it was the power = one?

Lool I lost 2 marks already LOL how nice!

And grade boundaries are bound to be high.

What was the half life? Exponential decay graph?

Half-life they should accept 5.2-5.4 years I guess.

I got 5 as this was the year that half of the undecayed nuclei in a sample decayed.

There was no points (.2,.3).

The x axis was just 2,4,6,8,10 and 5 was the middle of year.

I think it was something like what is the total energy transferred if the 1.8Kw kettle was on for 2 minutes so I got 216000, hope that's right already know I've dropped 2 marks...

Half-life was 5.2 years.
That's exactly what I got but I believe they'll allow a boundary of 5.2-5.4
