it was a totally boring paper (if this is the pharmaceutical industry one) but I honestly have no idea how well the paper went, what about you?

Hey, I quite enjoyed the paper, haha i think it went well but last question was a bit of a meh lol how did u find it overall
it felt ok, kinda thought the questions were an awful lot more open than usual and the individuals for the last question threw me slightly, but I can never tell how I do in bisiness and economics papers as last year I was CONVINCED I screw up my unit 2 and I came out with 98/100 so fingers crossed it went ok haha

Haha yhh busines papers are unpredicatle. what did you write for the last one if you dont mind me asking
errrrrm I think I had

pros:
increased supply in the market (with supplt/demand diagram to illustrate) leading to price decrease so disposable incomes go further for individuals/increased choice in the market, also FDI leads to increased employement therefore multiplier effect etc
also specialisation in sectors possibly leading to comparative advantage with USA leading to increased real incomes etc (think I had one more point that has escaped me ha but I was clutching to straws at this point)

cons: how MNC's like TaTa may retract FDI by using 'race to the bottom' blah blah therefore employment drops and people lose their livelyhoods, also that MNC's may not pay tax (like Vodafone etc) and this lost revenue has to be past on either through personal tax increases or through cuts in public sector like g'verntment and education

then conclusion was just talking about how the mass individual would probably seek the benefit of increased competition if the MNC were to stay and play ball in the market blah blah blah

that was roughly it I think you?

Yh i wrote some of the things you wrote too, but the question was not nice haha i waffled abit and it didnt help i was running out of time on that question. But I think it could have thrown off alot of people during the exam? so hopefully grade boundaries drop then :colone: any estimates for grade boundaries?

I was a at total word vomit from about question 7 because of the time trying to throw anything in there, well last year was

72: 100UMS
65: A

and that was the highest the boundaries had ever been so I am assuming maybe 63 for an A but it depends on how well the cohort have done as a whole I guess, how did the rest of your school find it?

Hey guys I say this exam too

I thought it was a nice paper, the only issue I had was time. I definitely didn't write as much as I wanted to for the 15 marker, my answer was fairly weak.

How are you guys revising for unit 4? Do you have any idea which topics/questions are likely to come up?
