Just wondering what you people use as "revision music".

When I can actually bring myself to revise, I put on a bit of Radiohead and The Manics (depression is a big part of the revision for me).

Haha Leekey, Radiohead rock to listen to while revising I agree. Boards of Canada and Orbital are also pretty slow/acid type beats too. My mate revises while listening to Death Metal, wtf is that about?

Usually a bit of Elliott Smith and Nick Drake goes down quite well...I like the lo-fi genius of it all.

Although saying that, I find myself listening to classical music..Bach and Telemann rated highly with maths revision!

Classic Fm.

I'm not into Classical big time (I like metal), but it is the best to revise to.

Although I often find myself interrupted from revision by some amazing chord progression. Dammit. It's just as well I study music then...

Elliot Smith, pure excellence

And yeah I read somewhere that listening to classical music increases your focus. And I can also see why to be honest, everytime I've listened to classical music it seems like a system builder for me as the other guy said it's logical.

I used to revise to dido- it's not my normal kinda music but it's a lot less distracting. but with my last exams (just finished) i decided not to have any music on at all + it was better- it kinda loses its effectiveness when my brother plays his cheesy dance music or computer games- but if you have a silent house it really does work!
