basically nottingham has offered me straight maths or straight economics (i hve to choose 1) ...............i don't mind doin either but want to go towards investment banking..............which one do u guyz think is better and i haven't dun further maths A level so would i find it tough?? i found maths a level ok n got n A but its completely different to uni level maths n further maths so which one do u think i should go for n is it ok even though i hve no clue about further maths...........

is that a clearing offer? nice one. go for whichever you enjoy more and think that you're likely to do better in your degree..both will give you a similar chance.

Try posting in the Nottingham forum and ask what the courses are like.
Personally, I would say Economics, as there is significant maths content anyway, so you get the best of both worlds.

yer - without further maths (or previous real interest in the subject??) you may well struggle to do a maths degree, as well as potentially not enjoying it. i'd go for the econ personally.
