MAGALUF and majorca-any gd clubs?

Basically... i am going to magaluf with my mate jack tebbutt from the marines on tuesday 22nd august. i aint been before. but i heard its hoofin! so i thought fair play i give it a bost.

Any previous experiences ther i would like to hear about em..
and any reccommendations for clubs and bars to go...
or any safety tips.. i heard its quite known for hobos robbin you..?

hi kenn0 went to magaluf from 13th-20th july, its bloody awesome, absolutely heaving out there. Recommendations are coyote ugly, but mainly BCM, its wicked in there, you pay £25 euros to get in, there are 2 clubs and a bar upstairs with pool tables. The main club is pretty big, usually have guest DJ's playing, open till 6 if i remember. Best thing is if you go before a certain time you get loadsa free crap like towels and bags with bcm logos, and its free drinks in the place, as many as you want. they only do mixed drinks (vodka coke) by singles, but you just have twice as many lol. we did wander around magaluf a couple of nights but nowhere lived up to BCM, so just go to promo bars first and then BCM! Dont go skinny dipping in the sea, i lost 90euros and my digi cam to some theif doing that but hey que sera! it was a wicked atmosphere no animosity when i went. All in all magaluf at the end of it for me was a 1 club place, but it was one of the best weeks i have had. You will have a wicked time mate and let me know how it goes.

Yep - go to BCM. That place is incredible, the foam party is awesome too. Remember to keep your shirt over your nose or you will more than likely drown. Im being serious too :P

The popcorn parties are fun aswell, and like the above poster said. Go in before 12 and you get loads of free goodies!

fair one- i heard BCM is pretty hoofin anyway so i was planin on goin there.. i heard there is a place where u pay so much to get in then u can get in like all 4/5 of these other clubs without payin or sumet?? :confused:

and also that they are always givin u jugs of vodka redbull for like jack all?? game on.. 3 days left!!! go on tuesday.. im buzzin.. any more ideas or tips then shout me..

I thought BCM was absolutely crap. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but 25 Euros is extortion. I thought the Strip was miles better. Ten Euros for the Magalluf Club Pass makes far more sense. Fusion is pants but all the others are alright. Tokio Joe's also has the most reliable air condition if you decide you are melting. Some of the bars are filthy though (the Highlander, for example. Stay away). Others like Bonkers and Office are good fun though.

BCM is awesome, get some class DJs there - the party is always huge. 25 euros isnt extortion when you think about the free stuff + the fact if you go anywhere else for clubbin (especially ibiza) then they're far more expensive. the offers are great on the strip - 5 euros for buy one get one free vodka redbull, with a free pitcher for you and your mates too!! i'm there from 8th sept for a week with 7 other mates, we went last year, it's awesome!! enjoy your trip!

i hate to go all old school on you..but "my grandad says..lol" that i should be proper careful with my room cus scratters hop from balcony to balcony to rob your stuff...puh..dont they realise im a student.. i dont have anythin worth stealing...lol....im poor lol... nah seriusly tho he said that. ad also not o take any of my id out with me cus pick pocketeres and stuff... so looks like im gona b out with my money down my boxers, change down my socks and a tesco thro away camera in my pocket.... i will probly be poorer lookin than the people robbin me lol :eek:

make sure you do lock everything, but i have to be honest, after 1 week i didnt see one fight, or apart from my stuff any thieving. honestly be aware but dont let fear of atmostphere overcome you because im sure its no worse than your local area, i do find as people are on holiday, they just wanna have a good time.

in linekers bar, i paid 3.50 for a PINT of vodka redbull, there were 3 cubes of ice and the quantities were 1 can of redbull, and the rest vodka. If you want to get drunk, you can do it sooo cheaply.

exactly - the magaluf vodka redbull is seriously more vodka than redbull, it's pretty heavy stuff, u get used 2 it though! i don't imagine there's any more crime etc than any other clubbin central place - if you leave jeans with money etc lying around then they will get swiped pretty quick but as long as when you go out u only take money for that night, no passport etc, you'll be fine!! and gettin drunk was even easier for us - we stayed in an all inclusive hotel! get mashed til 11.30 - taxi to the centre, into BCM to pay for entry and get all the free stuff, send 2 people back in a taxi to the hotel to drop off stuff we dont need (the free stuf or the clothes we've just changed out of to don our new bcm tshirts) - seein as taxi from palma nova is about 5 min drive n costs no more than 5 euros, it's not a prob. then all hit a bar til about half 1 them BCM til half 6. simple formula!! :biggrin:

I know someone mentioned the financially pleasing Pints of Vodka Redbull. It is the same price for a pint of Cheeky Vimto as well, and they literally give you half a pint of Port in it. They are abit lethal :biggrin:

Also my mate slept on a park bench and was mugged, only lost his driving lisence and room card, thankfully!

probs saw you guys at some point then, there were about 25 of us, but not all together at the sime time obviously. Sol Jamaica, that was pretty central wasnt it? i was at Barcelo Cala Vinas a flipping trek away, but it was all good, taxi was like 4 euros and we had our own private beach

my faves were the hed kandi night at bananas, BCM foam party without a doubt was fantastic-although i do distinctly remember drowning slightly in the foam, swallowing a lot and running to the loo to throw up :s-smilie:

the daiquiri palace on the beachfront is AMAZING-kamikaze is lush so go there and have lots of alcoholic slush puppies-yum!

i went last summer and stayed in the fiesta sahara-brilliant hotel and would def stay there again..top atmosphere!
