to get rid of dandruff, basically try soaking your scalp in squeezed lemon juice.

The doctor knows best. U'll most probably be provided with a special kind of shampoo that might help your scalp heal in the long run, in addition to a remedy for the actual condition.
In the meantime try T-Gel.

I have a mild case of psoriasis which can be really frustrating. I went to the doctor and was given Ketoconazole shampoo and betamethasone scalp application. You have to get that from the doc though. You can buy diproson though, which really soothes the itching. Ofcourse, i'm not a doctor so probably best you don't get it before asking your doctor if it's ok.
It could be psoriasis. T-gel should help keep it under control. If you get free prescriptions then ask the doctor to prescribe it for you - free shampoo!

I get something which sounds similar (don't know names), go to the docs and they'll give you special shampoo which helps, and there are some types of scalp applications and stuff which i sometime use which help as well. Basically go to your GP.
ive had the condition for 6 years. it used to be really bad but now its never a problem. i would 100% recommend 'capasal' shampoo because it completely prevents any problems for me. try not to wear too much gel and wash your hair properly at least every 2 days. do you have any problems with the skin on ur face or nose? try using aqueous water based cream - its really cheap and also totally prevents problems for me. stress also makes it flare up, so try not 2 worry about it

My scalp seems to flake if I use any shampoo that isn't a really natural one, like the bars from Lush. I did have a problem with a really itchy scalp a while ago and I got a special shampoo prescribed from the doctor's which really helped. I think it was called Nizoral? Anyway, recently I went to the hairdresser, who washed my hair and really scraped at it harshly while it was wet, and then commented that it was flaky (I blame the scraping) and suggested I used T-Gel, but as soon as I'd washed it once with that shampoo it really flared up, itching and flaking worse than I've had for a long time, so I binned that and went back to the Lush bar again, ignoring the hair guy's advice. There are so many chemicals in all the bottled products and stuff these days. I say maybe go for something really natural, or get the special shampoo from the doctor (if it's free, that's definitely a cheaper option than Lush (which isn't exactly cheap)). Hope you manage to get it under control!

seriously mate, just get some capasal shampoo. Use it everyday, no conditioner, no hairdryer, no products until it clears up/improves.
Go see a doctor if you are that worried you cant diagnose yourself so dont try.
