Im moving in on the 10th.
I think as St thomas is university managed cluster flats, we can move in from the 5th, but halls of residence is a little later-not much tho, i thought it was the 10th-but your prob right with 17th!!! Plymouth uni will send you a letter telling you when you can move in!!

yh i went to see them last week and theyre decent sized rooms, 7 people per flat, 2 ovens 2 sinks.pretty good condition too. Iv seen quite a few halls at different unis and these are one of the best.saying that theyre one of the most expensive so they better be bloody good. The location is the only downside, the street they back onto isnt the nicest area but cant be helped!

Who else has seen the price of the internet in this place? X_X

http://www.u-want.com/uwant.html

There's the ISP's site...they seem to think that as we can't live without it, they have the right to charge a complete rip off price and enforce stupid restrictions. They don't even let us use Outlook Express...come on...

yea i couldnt believe it when i saw it. £6.99 per week for ONE ROOM (not flat, room, i.e. one computer) to recieve 2Mb internet is nothing less than extortion. its simply not fair. for one flat with 7 occupants to recieve the 2Mb service for one month is about £195

tiscali's 2Mb service is £14.99 a month (granted, its not expected for 7 different computers to use it simultaneously with tiscali, 2-3 at most, but the price of u-want is approaching 15 times that of tiscali's)

Hey all, from today on Im St Thomas aswel!
by the way, maybe an idea once you get to know people to just share internet connections in rooms. It is kinda a bit of a rip off but look at it this way.
£7 a week.... 2 subway's WHICH by the way is just outside St Thomas's!!
