Unpaid Sandwich Year Placement help.

What happens if you take an unpaid placement as part of a sandwich year degree in terms of student finance available?
The placement has to be full time to count as an official placement so there's no option to take on a part time job on the side.

I'm doing an unpaid placement at Cardiff, and according to student finance you get your full tuition loan paid, and either a full/ reduced maintenance loan dependent on the type of placement.

Best to phone student finance, describe your placement and they'll say what type it is, and what type of maintenance loan you're eligible for :smile:
