Whitworth Park!!

Hi all, i have just recieved my accommodation offer email and will be at whitworth park in sept, il be in garstang house. anyone else off to whitworth park? what house, number are u in? c u there! xxx

Hey, i got my offer at 3 o clock 2day. I didnt want whitworth park tho! Noooooo cos it's not en suite! Lol it was my 3rd choice... i chose weston hall & richmond park (both en suite). I knew i shouldve said i had bladder weakness or somethin lol! I'm in garstang house aswell, bit of a coincidence?! My accommodation is only £2459- how cheap! I'm just a tad annoyed but i can get over it. I dont kno wot my numbas mean? Wot r urs?

well whitworth was my first choice but i wanted a wash basin n didnt get one but im not too fussed, jus glad i can roll out of bed n be in the stopford building. no i dunno what the numbers mean, mine are 01.18.124. what r urs? i look forward to seein u there!! xx

Oh my, I do believe you might be in my old flat. If you're in Garstang. It's normally Building, Flat, Room.

Not our fault but maybe they've fixed it. It is pretty nice overall, some rooms are bigger than others though

It was my second choice after Grosvenor Street Building but meh, it still looks nice.

How do you know if you've got a washbasin or whatever? I want to check that I got the one I put down for, or at least that it's got ethernet connection

I thought the prices had all changed though? Mine isn't what's on the list for the website and I'm pretty sure I've cracked the code but not sure, some help?

Also... Not entirely sure, but just poking around the brochure, it looks like everywhere in Whitworth has internet now.

Im in Whitworth Park too - Garstang House GA.01.08.060, whatever those numbers mean.. No washbasin though but on the brightside if the room wasn't ensuite then a washbasin would take up room space so i'd rather not have one if i was going to have to share a bathroom anyways and also its cheaper and very close to the uni, so its not all bad :smile:

And it's only for a year. And i only live about 30 minutes down the road so if i really hated it i could sometimes go home. AND Its more about the people you meet etc than what kind of room you live in, so i'm quite happy i got whitworth park after all, even though it was my 3rd choice... Ali xx
