First post here, hoping I can get some advice. I just finished law school in the UK and have to choose an area to specialize in. I'm hoping to gain expertise in an area that allows me to eventually go solo and set up my own tiny law firm so I was wondering which area is the easiest to do this in. Also, preferably, the knowledge could be reasonably transferable between jurisdictions as I am applying to UK firms but I wish to return to Singapore at some point to practice, so preferably an area that is more common law principles heavy rather than legislation (unless I am wrong in my assumption that common law governed areas of law allow for an easier time transferring knowledge across jurisdictions). Thank you
