Wasn't some girl seriously injured and had to go to hospital cause a water bomb(?) hit her in the face?

I read a story about an accident involving a water pistol...was waiting for a punchline, but think that actually happened.

From what I heard, it was a water balloon fired from a high-powered catapult... Might also have been a Rutherford catapult...

Yep during message to Garcia [youll find about this later in the term] a few idiots from another hall, who'd stolen a catapult from another hall fired a water bomb point blank into the face of a girl, completely destroying her left eye socket.

Expect a lot more stringent rules this year during Garcia....and weapons of that kind i think will get you ejected from the uni or get u banned from the union.

Other than that...its a really really awesome day!!

I've found this Hall Rivalry thing to have a beneficial effect on the University. Take a look at the Varsity Match between us and Bath in 2005/2006. When the measures are called for, whether Towers or Butler Court, Telford or Rutherford or all the other village halls, WE UNITE, and boy are we devastating when we unite!

The rivalry is what gives us our passion for the uni, and i will say now, i have an absolute passion for Loughborough, purely because im so proud to be a part of the 'Loughborough Experience'
