In the middle- long enough to have to push it back occasionally, but short enough that you don't need it in a ponytail/you can still see :P

I went with long because it looks great on the right person, not Gandalf-long but like Anthony Kiedis or Russell Brand long. But equally if you have medium length hair which is like long for a boy (like say Simon Amstell length) and its in curls, probably neater curls than Amstell :P, then that's really cute too. I like longer curly hair just so long as its fairly tame. Any hair that looks creative is cool.

Any Essex boy quifs or 1Direction hairstyle are embarassing, especially when the boy is so pretty he's pretty than you. Also avoid the Ian Watkins teenage-boy hair-across-face emo-cut, if you're not 15 anymore and still have that cut then it just suggests your a paedo to be honest.

I personally hate the shaven head macho look, it's just awful. Also, you should probably try not changing yourself for other people if you're creating a lot of these polls and trying to adjust yourself for them it just suggests your uncomfortble with yourself and that's honestly the thing you should be working on, not trying to have all the traitsl/looks that are 'most popular' with girls. It's pointless anyway as you can't please everyone, and if you try to please the majority you're just going to become a copy and a fake.

Most males can't pull off long hair - it ends up being greasy and stringy, and they always insist on having a middle parting or putting their hair up into a ponytail.
I like medium length, which is where the longest point of hair would just about reach the ears. It just looks more clean than long hair, but there's still enough to play around with / style.

Anthony Kiedis But you said it all. But what you call "Essex boy," actually reminds me of the Nazis, they all had the same hairstyle.

The thing is, long hair on a guy can look incredible, but only if you have a very masculine face to begin with

It works on this guy because he is balancing the feminine, with the masculine

I had hair like this for a while https://www.flickr.com/photos/harry_manback/44973431/

Although it was fun, all my friends breathed a sigh of relief after I cut it!

Food for thought lol. I've seen other hairstyles on guys that I like though, it just depends what suits them. Anything but Essex boy tehhe :P.

Also those top-knots kids are doing nowadays are baffling.

Nice username btw!

Defiantly, don't normally go for Mohawks but I'm guessing you've seems pictures of RHCP with them back in their heyday? Nice... And you are literally the first person to get the reference, I've had a bunch of people asking what part of California I'm from!

It really depends. Some people would look really stupid with long hair and on some people it looks amazing. I feel like it basically comes down to confidence - if you're happy with long hair then it'll look better than someone trying it out and who is unsure of the whole thing.

Of course it depends on the guy in question, some guys look great with longer hair(collarbone or shoulder length or even longer) and some look better with medium(around ears) and short(above ears). I like medium on most guys,I like having something I can put my fingers through and hold on to a little..shaven or buzzcut short I can't do that as much.
My ex boyfriend had thick black hair that stuck straight up pretty much(asian) and it was long enough to put my hands in.

That makes sense to me..and sounds much weirder when written down. Apologies.

If the man had the right facial structure, long hair can look really sexy
