I have only done GCSE French but I am learning Spanish many hours a day and by the time my Teach Yourself course ends I should be able to speak at an A-Level grade.
Would I be able to do A-Level Spanish if I can speak very well but do not have a GCSE?

It depends on the college or sixth form you go to!

If you are truly of a GCSE standard in speaking, listening, reading and writing, I see no reason why you wouldn't be capable, so long as your vocabulary and grammar is of standard.

Most places require a GCSE, however you may be able to demonstrate your ability and so get a place on the course, you'd need to contact them directly.
