    Hey TSR's.

Basically I got my AS level result for English lit (AQA) on Thurs and was fairly pleased. It was a B and I wasn't expecting that because I had a fairly horrible teacher who told me I would be lucky to pass at all and made me feel like a failure. She gave me a D for my coursework but in the exam I got 2 really high A's and I missed an A overall by 10 marks - obv the c/w pulled my grade down.

I wanted to ask whether I could redo the c/w without actually taking on the subject for A2 because I just hate it now and I'm worried I may get the same teacher.

I can't see why not, unless your school can't be bothered to make the effort to resubmit your cw when you aren't actually taking Eng Lit to A2.

Have a word with the head of English, with your parents if necessary. Failing that, take it to your head of year or head of school. Sixth form isn't the place to be shy about challenging nasty teachers... your future is at stake.

    Good luck!
