Pill Question

Ok so i ran two packs of my pill (microgynon 30) together without a break while i was on holiday. I heard that my period would probably be heavier then usually, but I finished the second pack on Monday, and came on thursday (as usual) but it already seems to have stopped/almost stopped, compared to a usual 6 days, and has been more painful, but not near as heavy. Should i be worried? Also i took antibiotics during the second pack, but finished those weeks ago, so i doubt they would make any difference. just wandered if this is normal?

it just seems crazy to go to my doctor and say "hi, my period was less of a problem this time, could you tell me whats wrong?" Lol, really just curious if people had experienced similar things or if it is freakishly abnormal x
umm I wouldn't be too worried...I think it's quite usual to have a slightly abnormal period when you run two packs together. i take microgynon 30 as well and my periods are much less heavy if i've done that. although, it won't do any harm to ask your doctor or pharmacist about it just to ease your mind...

:ditto: This isn't really a serious matter requiring medical attention - just because your body didn't do what you've been told is "normal" doesn't mean anything is wrong. Sometimes if I run packs of pills together I have a longer/more painful bleed, sometimes I don't. It's not a huge issue, unless you're worried you're pregnant, in which case there's an easy way to find the answer.

7 days. Although I'd add on a day or 2 to be completely safe. And because the bleed you get with the pill isn't a real period it is possible you could still get some sort of bleed even if you were pregnant. I'm sure how common that is though?
