Not really sure where to post this so I'll post it here and can be moved if necessary. I didn't want to post it in uni decisions, as it's a question, rather than a post explaining my decision.
I need to decide between the University of Leeds (which is great for my subject) or the University of Kent (which isn't as high-calibre as a uni or for my subject) but which is where I think I'll be happier.
I'm not looking for answers about the merits of looking for happiness against prospects per se, but more about the significance of job prospects between these universities.
They're only about 10 places apart league-table wise, but Leeds is RG, and on Open Days, assured me that they are targeted by lots of decent employers.
My second question regards subject:
- Is it better to get a 2.1 in something more employable (like economics) or a 1st in something less employable (like pure politics).
I've got the grades to study both, but I struggle with maths somewhat, and know I could get a first in politics and probably wouldn't in economics.
