    I was thinking of studying the American civil war, and focussing on how fair the view that the northeners were the 'good guys' and the southerners were the 'bad guys' is.
    I think I'll be going down the route of the Union actually not being much better than the Confederates (although probably still not AS bad).
    Any other ideas of routes I could take with this kind of question?
    Overall thoughts on the question/idea? Is it viable for the EPQ?

    It's entirely viable, as long as you give yourself room to explore. Don't make your answer too obvious from the start, try and do primary research, and you're golden ^.^
