I was thinking about doing an EPQ based on depression as it is something I'm very interested in and have close links with, and as I'm taking sociology I thought it would be a good idea to do something along the lines of:

  • How is depression portrayed in the media?

Or

  • What is society's attitude towards depression? (I was thinking of comparing different societies/linking it with media, however I'm not sure that in terms of attitudes there will be much of a variation)

However I don't know how I can present these. I don't think I could write a 5,000 word-odd assignment on either of them, but I don't know if there's a way I could present them as an artefact either. Any help would be appreciated!
