I've been doing business studies for four years now and the course was pretty much repeated at A-level so I wondered if that'd happen again if I picked business management or business and management (both with marketing) or should I apply for a marketing course where possible? Thanks

I've literally just been awarded a first in business management (marketing). My final year I specialised in marketing. Doing two years business management has opened my eyes to other topics within businesses. I realise now that after specialising in marketing in my last year I can see how marketing links to the other business areas and how it can be applied. My business management course did not teach me how to run a business it taught me about the various business areas. Everything happens for a reason and I do hope you find the route for you. I think just a straight marketing course is too narrow and business management provides you with a wider scene of routes to go down if needed.
