I have received my end of year 9 report, and I want to know what I would be expected to get in gcse, if I maintain my current effort.
Maths = 8c
science= B/A Gcse grade (equivalent to ks3 level 8)
French = 6b
ICT = (got results) = A*
English writing= 6c
English reading = 6c
Not being rude but if you know that a KS3 level 8 is the equivalent of a B/A why not predict your own GCSE grades? At this stage in the game any predictions anyone on here make are quite meaningless anyway, GCSE's can be turned around with minimal amounts of work; I wouldn't suggest KS3 grades are an outstanding indicator unless you are one of those students who gets all level 8's in which case you are probably expected to achieve straight A*'s. For your satisfaction however I will state an obvious point; if anyone is going to predict anything for you they will simply say, the higher the level the higher the GCSE grade. Therefore you scale it up. an 8C in maths indicates you are more than able and provided you take the right steps you can easily achieve an A*. But to be honest you can probably get A*'s in all of them. Sorry for that extremely non-concise answer.
