Have you ever been to a bad concert/festival?

just wondering , have you ever been to a bad concert or festival if so what happened to make it bad?
Avicii - Saw him at Manchester a few months ago! Loved his music but his DJing skills were awful and was all over the place... had no consistency whatsoever and kept switching bpm from high to low to high.... Went from DVBBS Tsunami to Armin's - This is what it feels like... :s-smilie:

Yeah Glastonbury 2014, everyone was drunk, high and shagging.
Glastonbury 2014 was incredible.
V festival 2013. Full of chavs, girls who put on a full face of makeup and judge you if you don't, people were unfriendly and the music was terrible. Beyonce was probably on stage for about 30 minutes of her performance because of all the bloody costume changes (not that I care too much about her, just expected more) and King's of Leon were great but because the festival was full of chavs the crowd was tiny so the atmosphere was terrible. I regret going, hopefully Reading will be a million times better.

Nothing. It's the only way to do festivals, if not, there's basically no point in going because you'll be surrounded by people who are drunk, high and shagging while you're sober, bored and frigid.

Kendal Calling 2012.

I usually love the festival, but the security was ridiculously tight and heavy handed, and the organisation was a bit poor. Toilets were horrid, even by festival standards. They stopped letting people bring in alcohol after the first day for absolutely no reason leading to people getting drunk in the car park instead which caused even more problems. Still had a good time, but running out of booze after two days and being given the option to either drink in the car park or pay ridiculous prices in the arena was an absolute bummer. Ended up sharing what booze we had left with the neighbours.

To be fair though they made it up the next year where the stupid policy was reversed, the toilets were better, more options for alcohol in the arena including reasonably priced Real Ale and the security were actually friendly and helpful.

JLS concert - It was terrible
Performance wise - The Dum Dum Girls
Set/audio/through no fault of the band - Shinedown. The amps weren't working right through the entire show.

Not been to a gig where the artists were terrible but have had things dampened due to the audience a couple of times. First was at an Amy Macdonald gig, the audience was as dead as a doornail and refused to dance when she asked them to (ok fair enough it was a free gig but they did know it would be her playing). Then at the on campus venue at my uni if you can't stand tightly packed in the crowd you end up at the back with people who talk all the way through the gig (about other things!) - happened on more than one occasion despite people having paid for their ticket.

Placebo - Alexandra Palace

Played their new (terrible) album with only a couple of the classics.
