I am just finished my second year of pharmacy and unfortunately failed one of my exams and am due to resit in August. However, I am working in America at a center for severely disabled adults. It's extremely difficult work, but I am getting exposure to the pharmacy and drug administration so it will be of benefit to my degree. If I return for my resit exam I will place the center under a lot of pressure to find a replacement as I had initially agreed to stay until September. As this is clearly not a holiday does anyone know if I have grounds to appeal the resit, or has anyone been in a similar situation and successfully appealed?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's still optional though, I very much doubt the university will have sympathy as your supposed to keep the resit period free until you know you don't have any resits except in exceptional circumstances e.g. illness

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
