Girl I like, who likes me has returned to her home country. The status quo is that I'll never see her again.
That thought feels me with overwhelming sadness, and hurts and kills me so much inside.

She starts uni in her country in September. It's a 3/4 year course. So not very hopeful.

I just wondered of anyone had any similar stories of things working out, despite the massive odds?

Did you not see someone for 4 years, and then picked up from where you left of?
    Did you move abroad?
    Did they come back?
    Stuff like that.

    Thanks

Its hard not going to lie and you need to prepare that it won't work out but its not impossible. There are success stories and it just matters whether you both want to try make it work.
