hi all, i just got my results and got 42.8% average for my second year. It's impossible for me to get a first now since i'd need to get 100% for my third year. (uni's weight age = 33.33% for second year and 66.7 for third)

So i was wondering whether it would still be possible for me to get a 2:1? i need to score an average of 75% for third year. I'm studying economics at the moment.

I am sorry to hear that but how can someone tell you if it is possible to get a 75%?
I would just carry on and try my best for the 3rd year.

by my calculations you need 68.6% in your 3rd year to get a 2:1 and 83.6% to get a first so I don't think it's impossible.

However, you should speak to someone face to face to consider your options. There are probably gaps in your knowledge which prevented you from getting good marks this year and will do so again next year.

Consider if you will be able to overcome those downfalls or would it be worth dropping out of that course for now.
