Hello, basically I'm 100% sure iv got Us in both physics and chemistry the exams went horribly, also the fact I failed the isa didn't help, also most likely a D in geography simple mistakes throughout. So my results most likely being UUD. I simply didn't do enough work will I be able to re do the year for chemistry and physics whilst carrying on geography for A2. Obviously I'll be re teaching myself everything over the holidays to the point where I could do the exams the first day back if I had to. Also do you think doing work over the holidays will be enough to persuade tutors and teachers to let me do it again. I want to eventually do biochemistry or biomedical sciences, how much of a disadvantage would I be put at to applying to unis because I did an extra year.

    Thanks

If you redo the year and get good grades you shouldnt be at much of a disadvantage to unis. As for being allowed to resit, that really depends on the college or sixth form you attend. ask them. Be prepared to do a lot more work and a lot of work over the summer. you should be fine resitting chem and physics along with A2 geography. results may not be as bad as you expect. I dont know about AS exams but i thought the A2 ones were tricky this year so its possible grade boundaries will be lower than you expect
