    I am 14 i will be 15 in December (2014) i live in Belgium the problem is that i will be in grade seven next year not that i am no smart or anything it just that i was not born here. i came to Belgium when i was 9 going to 10 they put me in grade five i had to repeat grade five a just because i did not understand the language when i was in the 6 grade over over here in Belgium i was also not good but the allowed me to go to 7 grade but in the B side ( in Belgium secondary school there is a B side and A side the b side is for student that want to work with hand.. and A side are for people that wanna work as a banker or scientist...) but now i finish grade 7 b side now i understand the language next school year i will be going to A side but i will be to old for the class and in Belgium u re not allowed to skip a class in the A side and i don't want to go to the B side please tell me what to do please i really care about my grades please tell me what to do.

    Oh, another people who lives in Belgium. Firstly, you are allowed to skip a grade in Belgium, but only if you grades are good enough. Can you tell me exactly in which grade you are at the moment?

    In case your Dutch is better than your English: Kun je me vertellen in welk leerjaar je momenteel zit? ASO/TSO/BSO? Basisschool/Middelbaar? Dat je in België geen jaren mag overslaan is nonsens. Dit mag juist wél, maar enkel wanneer je erg hoge punten hebt. Te oud zijn is trouwens geen schande, zo zijn er wel meer leerlingen.
