Hi

I understand that I can submit several travel expenses claim forms during my year abroad.
I also understand that I have to pay the first £303 of a claim. What I'm unsure about:

Is £303 deducted from every claim form I submit during the year, or only once?

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Example:
Claim 1
£400 one-way flight to Japan

After deduction of £303, I am reimbursed with £97.

Claim 2 (several months later)
£400 return flight to the UK

Will I get the full £400, or will £303 be deducted again?

Would really appreciate a reply, Mark. I saw you were answering questions yesterday and my question was on the front page but it wasn't answered.

Hello

Apologies for the late reply, they don't always come to us in order.

The disregard is only applied once per academic year, rather than against every single transaction.

Thanks
