If I plan to majorly use the D-Pad (for PES 2014) which gamepad will suit me better for my left hand's position? (aka which is more comfortable for the finger to be used when using the D-pad?)

The Xbox 360 D-Pad is a whole bunch of awful. Everything else though is very good.

The Xbox One pad, whilst not wireless, has a marvelous D-Pad.

Why is it awful? In terms of sensitivity? What about its position? Is it more comfortable for the finger if the D-Pad is located at the top or the bottom of the gamepad?

In terms of accuracy. It's just rubbish. Nobody on this planet rates the Xbox 360 D-Pad. It's just that bad. You'd be better off with a wet sponge.
