    Hi!

    background:

I've a B.Sc (H) in Computers and an MBA and roughly 4years exp in sales. After quitting and working as a fellow with Teach for India, I realised I loved teaching and decided to make it a profession. Unfortunately, on applying to IOE, Brunel, King's, etc etc etc for a PGCE secondary Maths, have been rejected for "insufficient subject coverage in B.Sc".

I'm hoping you guys can help me on this- is there someway I can do short course and get more math credits at graduate level? I don't want to do anything longer than an year, as I am already 30 and need to figure this out asap! Can I register for an SKE on my own (without university requirement) and will this be of any use in applying next year? If not, do I have other options?

PS- I am applying in UK as thats where my husband is working at the moment
PS2- and no, I dont want to teach ICT
