    Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if Herts university is lenient with their grades. I applied for an Undergraduate joint honours degree in Management and Spanish. The requirements are AAB and a C in Maths GCSE.

I found out today that I failed my functional skills exam. I'm bit upset because my college only gave us two/three lessons in total, before the exam, so we had bare minimum knowledge.

If I don't have the C in Maths and the AAB will I still be able to get an offer from the University? Thanks

In March I was part of a team calling prospective Business students who'd applied, we were offering lower entry requirements for those who'd firmed Hertfordshire. Although I can't remember if Management was a lowered one, the majority of the rest were.

So, it depends on if your first choice is Herts. I had one caller ask if Herts would be lenient with his grades, because his friend supposedly got in on a lower offer. But the admissions tutor turned around and said she's never personally accepted anyone with below offer results.
