    So I just bought a brand new Macbook Pro Retina 15inch and its cost me £1,699, has any one got any opinions on this if it was good buy or not?

    If your happy with it and it does what you want then thats all that matters..

    I just bought a lenovo win8 lappy for £300 and im happy because of the above..

    My advice would be to purchase a cheaper laptop around £500 and use the remaining cash for maintenance.

    It's an excellent buy, macbooks last long and have good battery life ( when properly cared for) it will last well passed your graduation if you're happy with the purchase nobody else's opinions matters tbh
