    Hello,

I'm looking to start a degree next year as a mature student, but cannot afford to pay the tuition fees without a student loan. I have previously had student loans for two first year attempts in 2004 and 2005 - I had to leave both courses due to epilepsy, which I developed whilst at University. I have now paid back some of these loans.

I know there are rules around how much an individual is entitled to. Will I still be able to apply for student finance if I start a new three year course? I do not have credit from my previous study, so will need to start at year one.

    Thank you for your help.
