Starting uni in a few months and rather nervous!

Upon getting stressed my mental health takes a dive. Hence why each day I have issues and have done for years.

This will be the first major test in years going to university. Adjustments are being put in place at uni which is good!

Am I right to think my life for the next 4 years will have me pulling my hair and having a breakdown?

    I hope not.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. If I get stressed then I am more likely to suffer from a relapse but at the same time I'm hoping that I'll be OK at Uni due to the fact that it is something I really want to do.

I guess the best that can be done is trying to take each day and hope to keep stress down by not thinking about things too much.

I have always wanted to attend university and got round to it fairly later than the norm. The stress makes the voices I hear worse. Then I have concentration issues which gets worse upon th stress.

Been told that there will be a lot of people in the lecture theatre and often break out rooms with video conference happens!! So already I dread this.

Hyper vigilant and the more folk the worse it is.

I'm pretty nervous about University as well but there is nothing I can do about it until I get there. I'm just trying to remain calm about the whole thing. I know stress is bad for my mental health so I try and keep calm for as long as possible.

I imagine that the last few days before University starts I'll be a bit of a wreck but until then all I can do is keep calm.

I guess the same would help you out. Just try to not think about it so much. I know its hard but if you've done any CBT or Mindfullness then you should be able to use those skills on this to try and keep calm.
