Can some list me with the approximate dates of the application process to universities and like when you should be preparing your personal statment? e.g:
    1-10 June- prepare stattment
1-30 July- you should apply to unis between these dates
1 September- get replies from unis etc..

I'd start preparing your statement now so when you go back to college you can get it checked then once you get your AS results on results day you can start to decide which unis you might want to go to, hopefully you've been to some open days. You can't apply to UCAS until it opens in September so you've got a couple of months till you can start applying, you could hear back from the unis anytime really, even up until march. The sooner you apply the sooner you hear back though

1st July - 31st August: write your personal statement, go on lots of open days and decide which unis you want to apply to and make sure you are decided on a course
14th August: get your results, these affect the unis you can apply to
Sometime early September: UCAS opens so you can apply, doesn't close until about December
October - March: hear back from unis, could be anytime depending on the university, competitiveness of your course, if you have to have any interviews and depends on how early you actually applied
