I have to go to Hull university on friday for the day and i'm not sure where I can park. The website doesn't state if they have a pay and display car park I can use. I looked to park in the streets nearby but have seen that these have time limits. I know that when I start in september I can apply for a permit and use that, but that's not much use to me at the minute.

    Can anyone help?

Is it an open day/applicant day? If so the parking on campus should be free for the day. If it is a visit day then you need to use the Dennison Centre Car Park but for Open Days you can use any car park on campus.

Otherwise, I'm not certain, if need be I guess you could also park in the carpark for the Old Grey Mare pub, which is just across the road from the university.

You could always ask the university if need be as if they've invited you in, there probably will be arrangements made.

Also for when you start at hull, apparently you need to be commuting a long way to uni each day for them to give you a parking permit. If you're living on the Lawns, there's a huge free car park and there will be regular buses to the university. Most student houses usually have space outside to park one car but are close enough to walk to uni.

You can park down Salmon Grove. It basically leads into the University, where the on-campus Accommodation is. During teaching time it's always hell parking down there because it's outside Taylor Court accommodation but you'll be fine at the moment.
